The set is not really full sized, in that the mallets are short; however, adults can still use them, and small children can also. The balls are lighter weight and so don’t roll well in grass. One of the mallet sticks was too small and so would not stay screwed in to the mallet head and had to be glued. For a family outing where you don’t really care about the game but just want something cheap and portable, the set is fine. The price was certainly right. , bunton
You will be creating essentially 6 permanent sticks. The directions are fairly complex, but Halex Corporation is part of Regent Sports (think Spalding too). So, you can get decent customer support on most of the items they sell, plus they print all the rules of the major outdoor games on their site (Bocce, Croquet, Badminton, etc.) , andy
I have never played Croquet it was fun and the set is really nice all wood and the carrying case is nylon but well made!! shannon
I actually bought this game just for the hoops as I needed a set and this entire croquet set cost less than merely purchasing a set of wickets by themselves. aurora
