Croquet quality set? Not in my case.

I purchased the product because I liked how it looked in pictures and I assumed it would be a quality set. When it arrived I was a bit dissappointed with the quality of the set. The way the mallet heads are screwed to the handles didn't seem very sturdy. The mallet heads had cracks to them. The paint job was poorly made with the stakes. The best thing about this set were the wire wickets, which seemed like they would last a lifetime. But because the rest of the set wasn't the same quality, I returned it and bought something with a 1 year warranty and was made in the States, Newport Croquet set by North Meadow

Great Value

Really good set, nice long mallets and good construction. Good quality wickets, but the are small so this is a much more difficult set to play with. But great quality and the travel bag is great. The only thing bad I can say is that all the screw in parts are plastic but not metal, but that is a preferance of mine.
