croquet set

For the price in today's marketplace, I guess this set is adequate. It is not full-size, but the mallets and balls are larger than most other sets in this price range. The handles are not made of hardwood, which means they will break easily if used aggressively in play. The wickets are smaller than sets I've had years ago. If you want a great croquet set, you need to shop hard, and be prepared to spend $100.

nice set for money

this is a very nice set for the money. Works great. just like the one we had as kids that we got with green stamps that lasted many years with lots of hard play. The balls are not the wooden variety like they used to be but these work fine. Very nice carrying case that beats the heck out of the old stands that you wheeled them around on and the mallets kept falling off of. Ive never played with a professional set so this was what I expected as a run of the mill croquet set. Fine quality for this very unprofessional croquet player.

Great family fun. The included instructions are a bit sparse, but you can always find more rules and tips online. Nice set for a backyard game of croquet.
